GReddy Street Performance II (SP2) Cat-Back Exhaust System.

 

It wasn't easy to improve on the popular SP2 system. But through customer feedback from over 10 years of use and testing, GReddy redesigned the SP as a full stainless steel cat-back system that is similarly priced to the original SP system. The new SP2 features a 304 stainless steel muffler canister with extra strong 430 SS end caps that feature a deep, high polish.

In the GReddy Street Performance Version 2, or SP2, GReddy has the ultimate in show quality shine, superior flow and excellent sound quality. The full stainless steel SP2 has the same classic tuned straight-through design as the other GReddy systems with the added benefit of a high polished single walled SUS 304 oval muffler with SUS 430 end caps and a unique outer-curled oval GReddy SP2 slant tip. With applications for both turbo and normally aspirated cars, most SP2 follow the O.E. muffler layout and offer some of the quietest notes of any high performance.

Large, high volume mufflers, like the GReddy SP2 provide maximum flow with a deep, pleasing tone and are especially effective when used on vehicles with after market turbocharger systems. The unique outer curled oval tip (115 x 110mm dia.) is embossed with the famous GReddy logo.

Employing state-of-the-art robotic seam welding, the single wall canisters feature increased rigidity for maximum durability and life. With over 35 types of internal perforated tubes, each SP2 application is specifically tuned for the best combination of sound and performance.

 

The new GReddy SP2 also features thick walled (1.5mm), polished 304 stainless steel mandrel bent piping for better resonance and vibration control and enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. New lightweight, flared and stamped stainless steel flanges are also used to provide improved sealing characteristics. The GReddy SP2 System will initially be available for over 50 popular Japanese vehicles with more to come as they are developed.
